I grew up in the leafy green suburbs of sunny Brisbane, Australia. I did my undergraduate at the University of Queensland, completing degrees in Science and Arts with majors in physics and French. I graduated in 2020, and was the Faculty of Science Valedictorian.

In 2021 I moved to Amsterdam to start my PhD with Dr. Arghavan Safavi-Naini in the Hyqs group. In 2026, I defended my thesis cum laude.

In 2026 I received an NWO Rubicon grant, so from October 2026 I will be a Rubicon postdoctoral fellow hosted at the University of Maryland in Alexey Gorshkov's group.
