I’m a PhD candidate in theoretical quantum physics at the University of Amsterdam. I study quantum many-body dynamics, quantum simulations and quantum sensing.

I grew up on the east coast of Australia, in the leafy green suburbs of sunny Brisbane. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Queensland, completing degrees in Science and Arts, majoring in physics and French. I graduated in 2020, and was the Faculty of Science Valedictorian.
I moved to Amsterdam in 2021 to start my PhD under with Dr. Arghavan Safavi-Naini in the Hyqs group. In 2026, I defended my thesis cum laude.
I recently received a NWO Rubicon grant, so from September 2026 I will be a Rubicon postdoctoral fellow hosted at the University of Maryland in Alexey Gorshkov's group.
